Mental Wellbeing

Purpose

We’re embarking on a project centred on holistic mental well-being, addressing the mind, body, and soul while delving into root causes rather than mere symptoms. To make this initiative a success, we’ll need extensive support from the broader PHA network, volunteers, and seasoned practitioners.

Our aim is to develop a comprehensive resource library featuring articles, self-help videos, and information sheets to empower individuals to help themselves, as well as offering insights into various therapies that can provide valuable support.

Alongside this, we’ll establish a nationwide directory of low-cost and free mental wellbeing services, including less mainstream options. Regional assistance will be crucial in compiling information on available services in each area. Together, we’re committed to making holistic mental well-being services accessible to all.

Get Involved

This simple project overview highlights the areas we want to cover and where we need support. Whilst the PHA team will be co-ordinating the project, this really is a team effort and everyone’s input and ideas are essential to its success.

In order to create an extensive range of resources, we are looking to build teams that can create content and find out what support is available for people at local level across different demographics.

Can you help? Are you able to research and write articles? Do you have some knowledge of supporting people with mental and emotional wellbeing and able to create some self help information sheets or videos? Are you able to find out what free and low cost support is available to people in your area? Do you have social media or video editing skills? If you answered yes to any of these questions, we would love to hear from you!

Please reach out to us at info@the-pha.org with the subject title Mental Wellbeing Project and one of the team will be in touch.

Resources in One Place

We understand how overwhelming it can feel to know where to start. We aim to keep it as simple as possible and provide a wealth of information and signposting all in one place.
